My last post is hilarious. It proves that I am a little nutty but oh well. My date was awesome! Our plans were to bowl and have dinner. Well he also wanted to go see a movie and that's a good sign, I think, that he wanted to hang out with me longer. Aunt J, he beat me the first game 116-111. I was extremely nervous and was hurrying at the lane. Well as my picture shows, I rocked the second game no doubt! 
For those who know of my pending doom, wish me luck! I haven't been on a first date in 7 years or so and hurling in the dead flower pot seems likely. Swirled in between the nausea and cold sweat are some monarch butterflies, so overall I feel great!! :)
Outside of one of the operatories, a pair of doves have nested in a tree. It has been great to see the birds during feeding time. Anyway a patient said I could watch Bald Eagle nests online! I am not a bird watching person but I was interested. Long story short, I have wasted about 12.5 percent of one day watching baby eagles and their parents. (That equals 3hours) Here are the sites I found with the best action.

Ok I am not infallible. I am very prone to making mistakes. Mom and I will be traveling down the Kennebec River on our trip, not the Dead River. I could only find serene, official pictures so I chose this picture from someone else's rafting experience. Hopefully we don't look like the picture I posted. There is a boat somewhere in the frame, I promise. :) Wish us luck!!!!
I avoid MTV. I think it is generally a waste of time. However, I did catch the Steve-O story a couple of days ago and it was real. He filmed his drug abuse and even the beginning of his intervention. It is dark but it is honest. It is amazing how many people knew about his habits. The cops even didn't arrest him.
I have made a decision on my birthday trip! Mom is going with me to Maine. A side trip we are taking will be to the Dead River to go rafting! The brochure promises level IV and V rapids and I can't wait! We went to the Colorado River and took an 8 mile trip but this trip is a 15 mile journey and no minors can go in our raft! EXCITING!!!! Mom joked that we are 12 years older than the last time and I told her to channel her sense of adventure. (I didn't tell her that we will go on a 5 mile hike once we made it out of the drink) :)
Today, May 4th is Star Wars Day! It says so on Wikipedia so it must be true! The actual anniversary is May 25, 1977. I thought it would be fun to revisit some famous quotes. I am not a fan of the "new" movies but I included one quote from a new film. Have fun!
My mom has been threatening to cut her hair for months. SHE DID IT!!! These pics aren't the best but it is what she sent me. MY hair wasn't ever this short, but now I am tempted. She also has decided to go "au naturel" but you couldn't really tell because her hair was so long. I love her hair cut and her color although she is too young to have Granddad hair. Hopefully my genes skipped over the salt and pepper option, but as my hair is black I highly doubt it.
I have decided to have two and only two honorable mentions to my hot list. Aunt J mentioned the above scene and I couldn't agree more! Christopher Plummer as Captain von Trapp is very handsome. It's funny how one movie and make you think of another, so by serendipity I also add Yul Brynner as King Mongkut. I thoroughly enjoy The King and I whether it be the musical or the movie. Yul Brynner looks severe but very good looking too!
