Halloween Dogs!

This is my lobster Capone. He did not like his costume and promptly shook it off.

Bodie on the other hand enjoyed being a turtle. He went straight to bed and tucked his feet under like a turtle and fell asleep. I let him sleep in his costume overnight.

What I should have been teaching Bodie

You know, Bodie is a special dog. He listens and follows directions the first time. He can sit and go potty and can recognize, "Wanna go Bye-Bye" and "Wanna Treat". He uses his dolls as pacifiers and loves me almost as much as I love him. I realize now that I have been holding him back from his potential! Who knew a dog could learn to surf? Here I was all worried about him sinking at the lake when I should have taken him out with me on the tube so he could begin achieving his unrealized talent of skiing! I should be a better dog mom!

Bodie's Binky

I promised a Bodie update and I was able to capture his funny quirk of falling asleep sucking on a plushie toy!
He was allowed to come to Kansas City with me a couple of weeks ago. In this picture you can see that he took over his mom Betty's bed! I bought his frog at WalMart and he promptly chew off the eyes because they were hard and proceeded to suck on his froggy's neck.
This is the close up. I promise you, he is asleep. He makes sucking noises which are hilarious. This is my baby Bodie!

Bodie

I have a bulldog named Bodie. He is my special boy. Bodie was born with a cleft palate that needed three surgeries before he was 10 months old. Because of his affliction Bodie was bottle fed and developed some strange habits. He only likes plushy toys and he falls asleep sucking on them like a binky. He likes to sleep tucked in with his blanket. I love Bodie. Everyone thinks he is weird, but I think he is awesome!
